FLIGHT ATTENDANT –
They ensure that passengers are safe and use emergency procedures.
CABIN CREW –
Cabin crews are responsible for the well-being and assistance of passengers onboard a flight
GROUND STAFF –
The ground staff is responsible for providing assistance to travelers. They can answer questions and ensure that passengers have a smooth flight.
Sky marshals – Sky marshals are specialists in counter-fear-based oppressors and secret law authorisation on board business aircraft to stop hijackings.
AIR HOSTESS ELIGIBILITY
You must pass the class 12 exam from any stream to be able to make a career in Airhostess. The CBSE and other state boards have announced the results of the 10th and 12th board exams. After passing the class 12th exams, students seek guidance. You can take a certificate or degree-level course in this field at any accredited academy after passing your board exams. You must be at minimum 18 years of age and have a height of 5′ 2″ to qualify. You must also have a valid passport.

AGE AND MARITAL STATUS
Although the requirements for applying to be an air hostess vary by airline, generally the minimum age to become one is 18-25 years. And most academies prefer unmarried girls.
MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL STANDARDS
The minimum height to become an Airhostess is 5.2 inches. It may differ from one institute to the next. The physical standard body mass index (or physical standard) is calculated. The skin should have a fair complexion and the texture of the skin should be smooth and flawless. Physical fitness is essential. A medical exam must be passed by the candidate. Candidates should not be suffering any type of disease or have had any mental illnesses in the past.
Being a hostess requires some soft skills. These skills are just as important as your physical fitness.
PRESENCE OF MIND –
Being a flight attendant requires that you have a calm mind. There are situations when the plane needs to land in an emergency landing. In such situations, the hostess must be present to inform passengers and make announcements to ensure they don’t panic.
CHARMING PERSONALITY –
You must have a pleasant personality to become an airline hostess. It is important to make friends with passengers in order to be a successful hostess.
WORKING AS A TEAM
Aspirants to be an Airhostess must work together as a team with the cabin crew. A cabin crew team can have between 10 and 12 members. You must work with them in coordination and support them equally in their work.
This is an essential skill to being an Airhostess. This skill allows you to communicate with passengers and help them if they have a question. It becomes difficult to understand the passengers’ needs if there is a communication gap.
