Annapurna Base Camp
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek beginning from a base in Pokhara is a great freshman multi-day journey for nicely fit trippers. We completed the Annapurna Base Camp journey in 7 days without a companion. But took a jeep for a short way at the launch and end to minimise time. We had no way of doing a multi-day journey ahead and hadn’t done any medication beforehand. It was grueling but fully manageable and oh so worth it!
The views from the Base
Amazing views up the vale towards the Annapurna peak along the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Distance Approx. 60 km depending on where you start and what route you take. It takes approximately a 5- 7 days time period to complete the whole trek.
Difficulty Moderate- delicate
Some veritably steep areas and high altitude but good paths utmost of the way. There are two main seasons for touring in Nepal. The first is in late October- November when the rainfall is dry and warm. The alternative is the launch of spring from April- May when it can be wetter but flowers are in bloom. We did the Annapurna Base Camp journey in mid-April and had some autumn rain occasionally but also fully sunny days.
Chadar Trek, Ladakh
Not only this is a stylish high-altitude journey but also a prominent downtime journey too. But why is it called Chadar? Is it a place? The reason why it’s called so is that during the downtime season the swash turns into a mask( which in Hindi means Chadar), and you’ll have to journey on it. Adding to the exhilaration is that the temperature then remains-20 degrees Celsius or so. Sounds thrilling, isn’t it.
Beginning of the trek
The touring passage begins from the nipping vill, it further leads to Zaribago, Deepika, Nyarak Village, Nyarakpulu and also a small village called Lingshed. From Lingshed, continue touring to Tso Mopoaldar via Nyarakpulu and also to Chilling via Toledo.
